POWER PACKER ZINE

Of Infinity is a three-piece (now I think a four piece) Metal outfit that seriously want to be heard.  Sure, all un-signed bands want to be heard, but how many go about it the professional way?  By professional, I mean writing music that can and will compete with many of the singed bands of today, then recording it and making it sound serious.  Yeah- this band is serious.

There are only three songs that accompany this "demo," but these three are not just any ordinary three.  The members of Of Infinity knew exactly where they wanted to go with their music, and it's easily heard.  Some will call it melodic Metal, some will call it melodic Goth, and will some just call it exciting.  For me, all three applies.  When wanting to know the sounds of the music, think the bands of either Napalm or Dark Symphonies.  Think the Gothic beauty and emotion of Veland-era TRISTANIA, think the progressive Goth of NICODEMUS, and think the angelic sounds of RAIN FELL WITHIN.  Of Infinity's music stands somewhere in between- and actually, I'd say the bands music is doing more than just standing; it's jumping up and down wanting to be recognized.

Sure, three songs is not enough to really tell the potential of any band- but still, I know of very few bands in my recollection who have made such a promising and exciting demo.  Someone will sign these guys, and gal, to a deal; it's just a matter of seeing where they go from here.  Of Infinity is of talent, so my bet's on the band getting to where they want to go.

Favorite Song: "It's Only For Forever."
